Responsible wool

Handmade

The one who got away: but this time it’s you. Our Heartbreaker was designed by our three co-founders, Sandra, Danutė, and Akvilė, and was inspired by past relationships. A therapy-session-turned-creative-brainstorm: each pattern represents a different romantic relationship all tied together. She's hand-knitted from a comfortingly chunky blend of wool and alpaca and takes between four and five days to produce. We're not usually fans of heartbreak, but we'll make an exception for our Heartbreaker Sweater.

  • SUSTAINABILITY

We don't believe in deadstock. Our Hearbreaker knit is hand-made in small batches by female artisans in rural Lithuania, using traditional Baltic knitting techniques. She can take anywhere between 5 to 7 days to knit by hand. No two pieces are ever exactly the same. Wanna put a face to a name? You'll also receive a card about the knitter who made your Heartbreaker.

For the knit, we use only 100% natural yarn, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used. The yarn is soft and cruelty-free.

NOTES FROM OUR DESIGN TEAM

This collection is a continuation of our journey exploring the symbolic elements of the Lithuanian folk poem “Eglė the Queen of Serpents” but this time we are focusing on her and building our version of the “knotty” heroine. Driven by the heartbreak and betrayal she turns to nature to gain the strength.
