Hand finished

Female founded factory

We named this knit 'Šatrija' after a hill on the Baltic coast. According to Baltic mythology, that's where Lithuanian witches would gather, dancing barefoot. Inspired by their connection to nature and the significance of women's rituals in Baltic culture, we translated these elements into the knit's silhouette and texture. Runs true to size. Recommended to take your normal size.

NOTES FROM OUR DESIGN TEAM

Our latest arrivals embark on a nostalgic journey into the carefree days of childhood, inspired by the timeless connection between our Baltic heritage and nature's embrace. Drawing from the enchantment of wild swimming under the night sky, we delved into the Lithuanian folktale of "Eglė, The Queen of Serpents," finding resonance in its themes of togetherness and reverence for the natural world. Through intricate knit stitches echoing rippling water and braiding patterns reminiscent of traditional rituals — mirroring the sisters bathing in the lake in the folktale — our new pieces evoke the essence of summer's magic.
