Aguonos (meaning "poppies" in English) is a collaboration between The Knotty Ones and Not Perfect Linen — born from a shared passion for natural fibres and timeless craftsmanship.
Rooted in slow fashion and a mutual respect for considered design, both brands came together to create something special. Pairing linen’s effortless ease with The Knotty Ones’ signature attention to detail in one piece made to be worn on repeat.
The linen dress is designed for joy and freedom of movement, with side splits adorned in delicate hand-crocheted “poppy seeds” — a detail that takes over 9 hours (that’s more than a full workday) for an artisan to complete. Wear it on its own or paired with the crocheted outer layer for the full Aguonos look.
This dress is hand-crocheted from organic cotton using couture chain stitches technique and adorned with blooming 3D florals. It takes 43 hours (that's almost 6 business days) from cast on to finish to complete by hand — a true testament to high-end artisanal craftsmanship.
