OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED

Sietas handamde crochet bag is a reimagined market tote inspired by Baltic traditions and the slow ritual of sowing seeds. Its openwork design is developed using a circular crochet stitch that mirrors the budding shape of a seedling — growing outward with care and intention.

This airy, handmade bag is crafted from medium-weight cotton yarn that’s both strong and flexible, making it an ideal companion for everything from weekend market runs to beach days and everyday errands. For a personal touch, we recommend styling it with a charm or two — because even the most practical bags deserve a little joy.

  • MATERIAL & CARE

100% Fair Trade cotton. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. Dry clean only.

  • FREE SHIPPING & FREE EXCHANGES

What's better than a sustainably sourced knit? A sustainably sourced knit with free worldwide shipping and free exchanges. If for some reason you'd like to return a piece altogether, we'll always accept unworn, unwashed and unaltered knits with original tags attached. Head to our FAQ for more details.

  • SUSTAINABILITY

We don't believe in deadstock. All of our Sietas bags are produced in small batches by female artisans in rural Lithuania. Wanna put a face to a name? You'll also receive a card about the knitter who made your dress. For the knit, we use deadstock yarn spun from 100% natural cotton.

NOTES FROM OUR DESIGN TEAM

This spring/summer theme is Rebirth: The Garden of Joy. Naturally, we look at the year's seasons and the cycles mother nature goes through as we align with them. With each spring, we reseed the gardens and replant the hope of new beginnings.
